Windows 10: Underrated feature? Browser tabs in ALT+TAB

I've seen a few people moaning about this but personally I think it's a great feature For those that aren't aware, the latest Windows 10 can display browser tabs from Edge in the ALT+TAB screen.

At home, I run a combination of full screen apps and a few common websites, and to be able to ALT+TAB between these seamlessly has proved very useful. I now just hide the the taskbar in maximised apps, and use a combination of ALT+TAB and search to navigate, on a 16:9 screen its now much more pleasant to use.

When we eventually get this at work, it will be useful because many of our systems are run in a browser now. I am aware you can make sites into apps, but it's a chore to do it for every site that I use, of which there are around a couple of dozen, and periodically these shortcuts can break or malfunction, or you can have to remove from taskbar and re-pin as you end up with duplicates.

Additionally, our main app for tracking IT systems, tickets and requests is much better to use in a tabbed browser. Sometimes, also, when you're under pressure, its nice to know you can just ALT+TAB to an app or a browser tab, without having to think too hard about which window its in, and which tab. Genuine quality of life improvement.

If I was going to nit pick, why haven't they integrated this into the Winkey+TAB timeline menu? I guess that will come in future. However, I hardly ever use this feature.

I've got to give MS credit where it's due for this feature, it feels like they're adapting to the concept that web apps are here to stay, and are making a much nicer UX overall. I honestly feel like this is one of the better changes in Windows for years.

alt + tab not working

Just found a really cool way to make alt+tab INSTANT!!!

In the launch options write the following: -windowed -noborder





This play exactly the same as fullscreen but now you dont have to wait 30 f*@!ing seconds to alt+tab back in!

Also you don't get the little purple/black checkered effect (only in Source games) from alt+tabbing in fullscreen.

Alt-Tabbing in & out of games does not always work. It can also crash games in some cases.
