  1. Undo denying Everyone access to the printer

I had a problem and look everywhere and can't find the solution I want.

    my problem was:

I set Deny access to Everyone to my connected printer, thinking admins would still reach it. Now I cannot even see the printer on the control panel or any print window. I try to change the owner security but didn't work.

now I think have the solution and I want to share :

    1. Back up your pc or server ...
    2. open Regedit win+R and write Regedit
    3. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\printers\
    4. find your printer have security problem and click on it
    5. find security reg and export file>export to your desktop and after export keep a copy for backup
    6. find a printer that doesn't have a security problem and export security like above
    7. open security.reg #6 by notepad and search this "Security"
    8. copy from =hex: ... until before "QueueInstanceId"
    9. open security.reg #5 by notepad and search this "Security"
    10. replace copy from =hex: ... until before "QueueInstanceId"
    11. saved as security.reg
    12. go to #3 and 4 delete security and import #11 to #4
    13. restart your pc
    14. now you can edit the security tab

    :)

Undo denying Everyone access to the printer

    Old printer installation gives Status:Error

Denis - I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by: " I suggest you click on your Start menu's HP group..."

However, I carried out your steps 2 and 3 and removed the printer then restarted the PC and the printer returned so nothing achieved. Could you please elaborate on step 1, thanks.
