Windows 10: Uninstall Microsoft Keyboard And Mouse Centre (Missing)

I have started getting errors with the Microsoft Keyboard And Mouse Centre, tried to re-install it but can't because the software is already on my machine. If I try to run it though, nothing happens. When I try to uninstall it either via Control Panel>Programs & Features, or with IObit Uninstaller, the program is not listed.
Tried a system restore, but that did not help either.
Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

Windows 10 keeps waking up from sleep in the middle of the night!

I have tried all the suggestions listed above including hybrid sleep, awake timers, powercfg, checking the device manager for both keyboard and mouse to ensure that these devices do not switch the PC on from USB port. None of these have worked.



It maybe just peculiar to my system but it was the Microsoft keyboard and mouse centre (intellipoint as it used to be known) that was waking my system. Once I uninstalled Microsoft keyboard and mouse centre (MKC), it resolved the spontaneously waking from
sleep issue.



Uninstalling Microsoft keyboard and mouse centre (MKC) stopped the waking up form sleep but I lost shortcut keys. I have since installed the new version without problems so far Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center | Microsoft Hardware .
I hope someone finds this useful. My keyboard is an old (at least 10 years old) Microsoft USB office keyboard.

I have a new Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard 2000 now.

Tried what you suggested with an old keyboard, connected the new one and it's a bit better.

I stll get an error saying the 'MKCHelper.exe' file is missing.

I still can't uninstall/reinstall Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Centre, as it says it is on the PC, but is not listed in the list of software to uninstall.

When I slow the wheel scroll speed down, it works fine, but when I restart the PC I have to do it again, as it speeds up so much I can't control it.

Thanks for the reply, ran the fix and Keyboard Centre was not listed, chose "Name not available", and after a minute or so, it said it could not perform a fix.
