    That's correct. You should be able to just change the product key to activate with the OEM key.

    When you do a clean install, it should use the OEM key embedded in the UEFI firmware chip by default.

    Done and dusted! Changed the product key to the OEM Key shown by ShowKeyPlus and the activation page now shows 'Windows is activated with a digital licence'.
