    I have been using ADVANCED UNINSTALLER PRO 12 (12 is the latest version) for many years on many PC's and have never had a problem.

    Though I have only used the registry tools only one time on one PC mainly just for the heck of it and everything worked out just fine.

    Its best attributes are all the other tools it offers to clean up or uninstall something!

    I may use a temporary install of software for testing purposes, or for creation of a system for a client, at the end of testing I may need to remove it as I do not wish to waste licensing or just that it does not meet the needs of a client

    As I need to keep it live for an indeterminate period. and as I never know what this period will be I cannot rely on a disk image to remove the installation, without removing other changes from the point of initial installation. The system image is only for restoration of the system should the install bork the system at the time of the install.

    I need the use of a digital scalpel, at the end of use of the program, provided by Revo, not the digital Machete provided by a disk image.

    This is Best Practice for the professional consultancy business well at least the Best I've come across
