Windows 10: Uninstalling Chromium

So, Chromium was added to my laptop somehow, and I thought I could just delete it in Settings, but it won't delete. Everytime I try to delete it, it opens up and I get a message saying, "Please close all Chromium windows and try again." This happens everytime, so I can't delete it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: Just for clarification, the Chromium browser opens everytime I try to delete it.

  How did you install the chromium browser? Is it through Windows store/third party website/any other source?

You may follow the below suggestions and check if you are able to uninstall the chromium browser.

Follow the below steps if you have installed the chromium browser through the setup file or through the other source.

Uninstalling Chromium ?

• Download the Chromium exe from the download site.(Download Chromium)
• Double click the exe in your downloads folder.
• Uninstall.

OR

• Go to C:/Program Files.
• Delete the Chromium folder.
• Go to C:/Program Files(x86).
• Delete the Chromium folder.
• Click on Start -> Run..
• Type %AppData%
• Delete the Chromium folder.
• Type %LocalAppData%
• Delete the Chromium folder.
• Delete The Shortcut.

 

Cannot uninstall Chromium browser at all on Windows 10.

followed the steps you have posted here and was doin' great until the very last step. opened my C: drive but no Chromium folder listed. any other suggestions? really want Chromium off my system as it's a pain in the butt!!!!
