  1. Uninstalling cumulative maintenance

KB3147458 introduced a minor bug into gpedit. I'm tempted to uninstall it, but I'm not sure how the uninstall of cumulative maintenance works. Is the uninstall also cumulative? Will an uninstall all maintenance applied to the current build? If the latter, I'd better look at doing a restore.

    :)

  2. Usable Maintenance Programs for Windows 10?

I have an HP tower system, bought with windows 8.0, upgraded to 8.1, Cumulative maintenance would NOT apply, resorted to applying one item at a time. until I did this, windows 10 would not install. Now with windows 10, cumulative maintenance will not apply.
every time I rebooted, maintenance would attempt to apply then reject. this would go on for about an hour. I then heard about reinstalling windows 10 with maintenance already applied. I did this successfully. now waiting for the next cumulative maintenance
package to see of this is any better. Oh, I ran the troubleshooter multiple time and it said it fixed the problem each time but it never changed the result. PLEASE improve maintenance recovery issues. Clarence

  3. windows 10 mouse detected not working

The Device Manager wasn’t able to find the driver for the USB devices on your computer, because the Windows update incorrectly skips installing the newer version of some critical drivers during cumulative update and uninstalls the currently active drivers
    during maintenance.

    Regards.

    Uninstalling cumulative maintenance

Well, consider the converse of this:

If your last update was March, the April one will have changes done since March
If your last update was Feb, the April one will have changes done since Feb
If you have never updated, the April update will have all changes
