  1. Unknown device connect to my network folder?

So I have phone with the name Cheetah oversea p1 that shows up in my network folder on my home network. I googled the device type and it showed up as a GLOBAL4KN made by AllWinner, which I have never heard of. I think it might be steaming box of some sort or something along that line. Either way I have no idea what it is or why its showing up on my home network. I can't see it on my connected devices in my DLink router manager, there is only 5 devices connected, only one of which has "unknown name" and the MAC addresses don't match. It also comes and goes periodically from the network folder. Anyone know what this might be or if I should be worried about it? I'm trying to set up file sharing on my home network so I'm a little worried it may have access to things I don't want it to. Thanks.

    :)

  2. Network devices listed under Unknown in Device Manager

I have a Dell Inspiron M731R laptop upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Home 64-Bit that suddenly quit connecting to the home network. Was using wireless, so switched to an Ethernet cable, but still no luck. I just discovered that ALL of the network-related devices are now listed under an "Unknown" tab in the Device Manager. A check of properties of each item in that folder says they are all working properly, but that obviously isn't the case. I tried uninstalling each of the 4 items, but when they are recognized again they still show up under the Unknown tab. Any suggestions would be welcome.

  3. Unknown devices connected to my pc

It is found under network connection, listed as unknown devices connected to my pc. After changing password to FiOS G1100 and also name of network connection I still found an unknown phone and a tablet showing under unknown devices connected to my pc.

Found by looking in "my pc", then "network".
