Windows 10: unknown device in device manager

Bro, have you tried just right clicking it and "Update Driver - Search Automatically"? I did a clean Win10 install a couple days ago and got a couple of them and after right clicking and updating driver everything was clean. Of course, after doing a clean install, it's always best to download the full set of latest drivers from manufacturer website and install.

 

It was one of those two , cant remember which one , I just kept browsing the list of drivers and saw these which looked like ACPI , I took a chance and bingo .

Still cant get an iPhone to connect to a dell alienware 13 win 10 pro but at least I have one issue fixed .

Now that you have all the right drivers loaded, you can save them for easy future use. On a flash drive or some other storage location, create a folder to hold the drivers. Let's say it is G:\Drivers. From a Command Prompt (Admin) or Powershell (Admin) run:

dism /online /export-driver /destination:G:\Drivers

Change the path in red to whatever you create. Then the next time you reload Windows, for the devices that don't have drivers after installation all you have to do is update drivers in device manager, browse my computer, and point it to the G:\Drivers folder with the subfolders box checked and it will find the saved driver there and load it.

 

Backing up the drivers was a brilliant step . Done as you said but couldnt find run as administrator but worked with powershell.
