Windows 10: Unknown error code 201/10053

Hi All,


I wondered if somebody could help with the following error code that my colleague has encountered.


A little context - we have a windows machine connected to an x-ray diffractometer, and they communicate with each other using the diffractometer manufacturer's software.


Since upgrading the machine to a Windows 10 machine, the following error frequently occurs during use:


"Error 201/10053: failed to send "GS2" to socket".


Trying to search this error myself leads me to Winsock and email POP3 SMTP solutions, however, these don't appear relevant to the communication between the machine and instrument. Therefore, I'm a bit lost on how to proceed/fix the issue.

The program is ammy admin..and this is the log error...

I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 and when trying to connect to certain program it gives the message "ERROR 10053 -1 in TransportTCP1".......also my windows store never open up.....
