    Received error "the exception unknown software exception (0x0000420). What is that error code and how do I fix it?

    Exception unknown software exception 0xc06d007e occurred in the application at location 0x0000000075770882. can someone please help with this error it started after I logged into my Microsoft account, on a brand new 2-in-1

    Exception unknown software exception

    Hi there

    Following the recent large Windows update, i get the following error immediately before I log on.

    The exception unknown software exception ( 0xc06d007e ) occurred in the application at location 0x00000000776D722

    No other changes were made to the system. I have windows 10 Home, v 1803

    Any ideas?

    Unknown software exception

    After loading Windows 10 update to a new DELL Inspiron 15, I receive the following error, "The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d0073) in the application at location 0x0000000074630882." What does this mean and how can I address it? It is confusing
    that the error message does not indicate "what" application generated it and "what" application encountered the exception.
