Windows 10: Unresponsive Black Screen @ Logout

Title says it all. It happens randomly and only happens since I’ve upgrade/used Windows 10 on both my desktop and gaming/travel laptop. The monitor acts as if there is nothing to show, no cursor or response to key presses, and the reboot graphics card key combo doesn’t work either. The only way to fix it is for me to hold down the power button and start the pc back up, but I’d rather not do that tbh.

Any ideas what it might be or if I might need to bring it in to a tech to look at?
