Windows 10: Unstable internet connection

Hi all,


since a few month i got an issue on my computer. When i'm downloading a file on any browser I tested Chrome, edge, and Brave after a few Mb the DL is stopped and it says that there is a network error or it goes down to 0 B/s and doesnt dl anymore. i have to try like ten times for it to work but it always has to be a little file like 10 gigs is impossible to be fully downloaded. Sometimes i can't even do a research on google because it "isn't available". I'm connected to my network with an ethernet cable cat 7 and when i do a speedtest i get speeds that aren't far from the gigabit and a ping of 1. So my internet is fast but not stable at all. I tried several antiviruses avast, bitdefender, kaspersky and none of them solved the problem. Does anyone have a solution?

Unstable internet Connection

For the last couple years i have had a very unstable internet connect. Goes out randomly for 20 to 30 minutes or couple hours or until i reset my cable modem(which is about 10 years old) and router. However, i have contacted my neighbors and when i dont have internet they do. I have also contacted my ISP about it when i lost it and they reported no problems in my area. Is this whole bad internet connect thing caused by my old old Cable Modem??



I was going to order THIS tonight.

 

Internet Connection Broken/Unstable

The internet keeps dropping every now and then, becomes unresponsive and then starts working again.
Long download speeds are broken and not continuous. Is it Windows 10?
