Windows 10: Unsure if I'm in the right place

Okay guys (and mods) please bear with me. This week has been absolutely shitty, and today is the cherry on top. Long story short, I can afford internet for the first time in two years, I boot up my pc..... And I can't remember my password. I'm okay with wiping everything, I've gone two years without using this pc (didn't even turn it in because all I use my pc for is to game, I use my laptop for everything else) but I really just want to play Cold War with my friends because I'm finally financially stable, and can't because I can't remember the password to my PC and the reset my password wizard requires a password reset disk? I'm sorry, thank you for listening to my drunken rambling, Merry Christmas y'all!

Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

I would suggest you to follow the steps.

• It sounds like you are right clicking on the Start Screen, not the Desktop.
• On the Start Screen, there is a Tile named Desktop. Left click that Tile and this will take you to the Desktop.
• Right click an empty spot on the Desktop and select Personalize in the menu.
• On the left side of the Personalize box, click Change Desktop Icons.
• Place a check mark in the Recycle Bin and click Apply/OK.
• This will place the Recycle Bin icon on your Desktop. Click that icon to open the Recycle Bin.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
