Windows 10: unwanted porn pop-ups

I have a HP laptop with Windows 10. I get unwanted disgusting **** popping up from my "new notifications" which is in the lower right bottom corner of my laptop. Those photos intrude no matter what I am doing. How do I permanently block those photos ? Thank you

I am very much disappointed after upgrading windows 10 with Microsoft edge browser that it open number of unwanted pop up screens and window behind active window with porns. Cannot use system at home when family is around. Have you found any solution for
this yet? Can we go for older version of IE and how to do that. I hate the new version.

Thanks for your reply. I tried these steps, but still there are lot of pop up Windows and back ground window with porn sites open. Please help to resolve it with Windows 10 or please guide me how can I go back to Windows 8. Since I have upgraded to Windows
10 more than a month ago, system doesn't show me option to go back to Windows 8.

It is frustrating that Windows rolled out the version without even fixing a basic problem.

I suggest you to follow the below troubleshooting steps and check if it resolves the issue.



Step 1: Delete the browser history

Step 2: Block Pop-ups



1. Launch the browser and click on the three dots icon
(More actions) on the top right corner of the browser.

2. Navigate to Settings > Advanced settings
> Turn on Block pop-ups.
