Windows 10: Update 1809 resulted in FHF losing my hidden folder.

Discus and support Update 1809 resulted in FHF losing my hidden folder. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Looking at my 'apps and features' folder I see that on 12/23/2018 new copies of many of my apps including Free Hide Folder were installed on my laptop....     Update 1809 resulted in FHF losing my hidden folder.


    Looking at my 'apps and features' folder I see that on 12/23/2018 new copies of many of my apps including Free Hide Folder were installed on my laptop. I assume this was caused by Windows 10 update number 1809 which my update history lists for that same date. Yesterday when I started FHF it asked me to create a new password which I did using the same password always used for FHF.

    The folder containing files previously hidden with FHF no longer shows up in FHF. This has happened with previous Win 10 updates.

    Can you offer any help in recovering the lost hidden folder and it's contents?

    Hidden folders

    I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

    When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

    I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

    • Make a new folder.
    • Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
    • Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
    • Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin Update 1809 resulted in FHF losing my hidden folder. :D

    yeah but if you search within windows search can u still be able to find files you put in it like say porn or somthing like that. that you can hide from the g/f or wife lol
