Windows 10: update error code 0x800f0922

Microsoft/Windows10 sends me updates every few days, they download updates KB4598242 and it tries to install which always fails, and it has to uninstall, this takes 15 minutes or so, very frustrating.

Why do they download these updates knowing they will fail installation.

I get error code 0x800f0922,

Windows won't update, i ran sfc as an Admin in CMD and no issues.

• Adobe is activated on Edge but still doesn't work, could this be related?

KB4565633 Fails to Install Returns Error Code: 0x800f0922

I'm having very much the same issue, unfortunately your solution doesn't solve the problem. I followed every step, but upon re-booting and trying to install the update with the same error code 0x800f0922.

Are you certain the error number is associated with the KB rather than the Net framework update offered simultaneously?

If you wished to separate the elements offered at this time and try installing them individually, you could use Windows Update Minitool (free) which allows you to select updates individually.
