Windows 10: Update Failed: 2018-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems...

I couldn't update the 1803 Cumulative update. Getting 0x8000ffff at 25% every time . Does any one know how to install this update without error?


I am using the new Surface Pro. One thing I don't understand is my version is already 1803, why does it ask me to update to 1803 again?

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Thanks, solved that issue but now its seems to happen with every update
