    Interesting. I'll have to check bcdedit and see what I can do with that.

    So whenever I rebooted the computer (after I had the update downloaded), the only way to finish installing the update was by using the start menu "Update and Restart" option. Any other form of a restart never finished installing the update. Weird right?
