Windows 10: Update from 1709 to 1803 failed

Hello,

For the past year I haven't been able to update my laptop (Asus ROG strix gl502vm) to the next version of windows.

I am able to download the update but as soon as my pc restarts to install the updates it runs into a problem: Stopcode Memory Management.

Then the pc starts restoring to my previous version of windows.

I have contacted several Microsoft mechanics but they weren't able to help me... the last one that I contacted said my mc isn't compatible with the next windows version, which is obviously an excuse because he doesn't know or something like that..

I really want this fixed and don't know where else to ask.

Unable to update Windows 10 Pro version 1709 to 1803

Have made several attempts to update Windows 10 version 1709 to the latest version 1803 and have not been successful.

I've done the following per some suggestions found online:

• Updated drivers
• Ran the Trouble Shooter for Windows 10 (Errors found were shown to be "Fixed" per the tool)
• Unplugged the printer

Although not at every attempt, I have received the following errors:

• 0xc1900101
• 0x80070643

Can someone please advise me as to what the errors are and provide me with the steps to update Windows.

Update 1709 to 1803


uicciso.dll
- is a Microsoft file.

However, on this PC I do not have it in
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\UMDF

only




Suggest leaving that aside for now.
