Windows 10: Update from 1909 to 2004 continues to fail, possibly causing my RAM to be used up abnormally?

I have been having this problem for a little while now. Recently I noticed that my RAM% in task manager has been way higher than usual. I have tried multiple solutions to no avail. I think I possibly need to update my Windows but every time I try, it gets to some restart screens and then eventually tells me it is "Undoing changes to your computer" and brings me back to version 1909. I hope these two have correlation so I can kill two birds with one stone. Here is my task manager showing many Service Host processes consuming large amounts of RAM and also my specifications. Also, Cortana keeps randomly popping up and eating up 100 MB of ram.

What is causing Prime 95 to keep failing all the time in the first 10 minutes?

...and what will be your next step if THAT fails to make Prime stable? More volts?

I would think you would want to be using the LEAST amount of volts possible (for heat and longevity issues). That's why I suggested you use a more scientific approach to troubleshooting your instabilty. Meaning, IF your RAM passes 10 loops of MemTest with no errors at the speed you are trying to run, AND Prime continues to fail, THEN consider giving a bump to NB, FSB and Vcore (in that order).

 

1909 vs 2004

I thought (maybe) or suggested (possibly) this seemed to be true immediately with 2004, but after being with it for a few days I do find & feel 2004 superior to 1909. No, this isn't from fancy lab set ups & testing
or Swiss stop-watches... nothing but, plain ole everyday use.

2004, same hardware, same software, definitely is faster, snappier, more responsive & more fluid than 1909 (was).

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
