Windows 10: Update from Windows home 1803 to 1809

Hi, I am trying to update windows home from 1803 to 1809. While working last night 2/25/19, a blue box popped up asking if I wanted to update now or later, I chose later, after I was done working, I checked the update in the settings and clicked update, I had to restart and it worked for a while then a box popped up saying some didn’t install everything restart and try again. When it restarted it uninstalled whatever it had installed?

I did the DISM commands, SFC cleaned all junk files out, use troubleshooting to repair the update module or whatever it’s called tried again and the same thing happened. Today 2/26/19 I went on line and used the update assistant (after I repeated the trouble shooting I did above) and the same thing happened. I tried to use the update now, and it downloaded something and installed it and restarted, everything ok, but then I checked the version in settings I still had 1803, then I checked for updates and there weren’t any.

My pc runs fine, I have no problems, and I don’t want to do a reinstall everything, that takes way too long like a couple days to reinstall everything.

I have an i7 16gigs ram windows home 64bit and no problems! But the update!

If anyone has any idea what the problem is please let me know.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Win 10 1803 to 1809 update

Good day one and all.

My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1809 a while back, but my laptop/notebook running Win 10 version 1803 (As of a Check for updates today 15 Nov 2018 6:30 AM) still hasn't updated to 1809.

I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1809 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

Updates in general on the laptop are coming through as available, for example, yesterday (14th Nov 2018) the "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1803 for x64 based Systems (KB4467702)" arrived and was installed okay.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803)

Any Office365 users here? Does Outlook (or any Office app for that matter) request activation after each system restart post this Windows 1803 update?
