Windows 10: Update has seemingly made my laptop incapable of starting up, stuck on blue windows logo...

This really is a pain and my laptop was working so well prior to the update I wouldn't have updated it if I had a choice

I want to find out two things:

1. 
   How can I fix this so I can use my laptop?
   
   
2. 
   I had online orientation today and I had to drive to a friends house to attend it because of a windows update. I'm never updating it again, I use the laptop way too much to put it in danger like this. Is there a way to make it NEVER update unless I manually look for it, like I can on an iphone for example (no mandatory updates)

Installation Hangs at Blue Windows Logo, Error Code C1900101-20017

The BIOS update suggestion posted above by @Jegler helped me, @guhanath. I was on version 1.10 and updated to 1.90. The steps I took after that were just doing the official Windows 10 upgrade procedure.

Then the Windows 10 installation went without a hitch, and I'm no longer on Windows 7. I'm going to consider this solved, thank you @Jelger for the suggestion to update the BIOS!

 

PB Easynote S2 - Stuck at blue logo


It seems there is now way to run w10 on this laptop. W10 just gets stuck at blue logo.

I have managed to install Windows XP but not without my share of misfortune.

Tried looking for a bios upgrade but no dice. This mode isn't even listed under Packard Bell's support website.

Now I know a brand I intend to steer away from...

 

The update stuck on the laptop logo

I tried many times to update but everytime I update its say pc needs to restart then I clicked it restarted and started to update on the blue screen with percents ( with a note pc will restart serveral times ) but when it restart a couple times maybe its
showing my laptop logo ( logo that when I reboot or start my pc ) and it stucked there not showing anything just my laptop logo its ROG asus. I need help cuz this morning when I start my pc it tells me that I cant update again if I don't update this pc to
the latest version before 10 april
