    Update Installation in a Loop


    Hi there.


    I know nothing about computers. Just gunna throw that out there now.


    I haven't touched my computer in awhile. I opened it today to see it all of a sudden running pain stakingly slow. I then noticed there are many updates to be done. So after about 3 hours of basic updates I'm now doing version 1909. It's been oh.... About 3 hours of a continuous loop.


    Getting things ready--100%

    Then it downloads to 100%

    Then it installs to 100%.....


    Then it went back to download to 100%....then install.... Now back at getting things ready......


    Why is it doing it all over again if it completed to 100% already? There were no error messages or anything indicating that the installation was unsuccessful

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    • Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
    • Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
    • What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?
