Windows 10: Update messed up applications

Split from this thread.This latest update was not requested by me or anyone else in the building. This unsolicited update has obliterated all of my applications.Including my large financial planning SW product. The fact that the SW modules are not running tells me that they probably are not supported by this update. My installed SW products have cost me thousands of dollars, has this version of Windows just made them all obsolete on my desktop??

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows Update has damaged weatherbug on my PC

If it's really the updates that causes the application to mess up, we suggest that you uninstall the updates that have occurred prior to the issue. Here are the steps on how to do so:

• Click the Windows icon, then search for Check for updates.
• Click on Update history, and choose Uninstall updates.
• Uninstall all the Security Update for Microsoft Windows that have been installed prior to the issue.
• Once done, run the application again, then check if it'll do the same.

Explorer.exe, Werfault.exe, RuntimeBroker.exe (application errors). start wont come up and application errors wont go
