Windows 10: Update NVM?

Discus and support Update NVM? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I am troubleshooting a MB onboard NIC and part of the posted fix is to update the Non-Volatile Memory NVM to 1.45.     I am troubleshooting a MB onboard NIC and part of the posted fix is to update the Non-Volatile Memory NVM to 1.45. How do I do this? Do they mean the firmware?

    Standard NVM Express Controller

    Hi.. Hope all are doing great...



    Issue, I am running Windows 10 Pro 2004. I have an XPG SX6000 Lite 256GB M.2 drive installed on a Vantec Adapter in a PCIe slot. Motherboard is an old P8H77-V i3770 CPU. When Windows loads from a shut down (Cold Boot) the Standard NVM Express
    Controller Driver loads and the drive works great. But, when a restart (Soft Boot) is done the Standard NVM Express Driver fails to load and the drive does not show and is not listed...

    What do you think Update NVM? :)? Help would be amazing... Thanks

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
