Windows 10: Update Problem - Windows Server 2016

Hi,


I have a problem with updates, my server have role from domain controller, and windows update display error 0x80070005.


To resolv this problem i've tried to follow next steps:


net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSVC

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren c:\Windows\System32\catoot2 catoot2.old


net start wuauserv

net start cryptSVC

net start bits

net start msiserver


PowerShell
wuauclt.exe /updatenow

I've start cmd in administrator mode, but when execute 'net stop wuauserv' display error 5





Powershell in administrator mode have this same result.


viendo los servicios en ejecución no encuentro el servicio de actualización

Windows updates are failed in Windows Server 2016

We are using Windows Server 2016 for additional AD. And We are tried to install windows update in server. But Update Failed to install. I had try to lot of steps,
The below error is showed ,
• 2019-12 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4530689) - Error 0x80073701

Please provide best solution.

 

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

They made it part of the WU client then, or it's two different things doing the same. Too bad you can't download it separately.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
