    ?update windows, lost audio

on friday 2/21/20 there was an update to my hp pro book 650 computer os, version 1909 os build 18363.657, since that time i have lost audio, ran troubleshooter which keeps telling me to plug in hdmi cable. somewhere over last couple days i've tried various remedy's but no avail. i also came across information that does not apply to my computer or least i do not think so. the story goes like this, i live an apartment complex, neighbor 2 doors down offers her wifi service and her password, i reluctantly accept because i'm using craigslist to post for sale items, check my e-mail, watch commie tube. this download happens and somewhere in my computer i come across a damien firestick and samsung tv listed in my build specs. i researched fire stick and put hdmi from my audio problem together to realize i need help solving this issue.

i am not sure if above information is helpful, but i figured it might help resolve issue. in device manager there are no speakers or audio outputs listed. please help i can not afford to throw my laptop against the wall in frustration again.

    :)
