Windows 10: Updated pc and came back to nothing working

So i updated my computer. Came back to it the next day to a an empty blue default screen. None of my apps show and my taskbar doesnt work. Restarting the computer wont fix it. Once i sign back in its all the same. Okay so task manager should do the trick right? Well i can do control alt delete, but task manager wont open. Okay so i tried shift, control, esc to open it and nothing. I cant do anything since task manager wont open and my taskbar wont do anything. Restarting the computer wont fix it. However if i restart my computer from the actual pc it will restart but if i try to restart it from on the computer it just takes forever and wont restart. Also any time i try to open task manager or spam the taskbar a huge black box quickly appears and dissapears. Would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me fix this problem. Custom built expensive Pc is just making me want to throw it out the window at this point.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it

 

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
