    Hi all,

    I updated my Hp Probook 450 G4 to 1803 and many drivers are broken now e.g. graphics card, hotkeys. Also I noticed night light isn't working for me.

    Anyone experiencing issues with their drivers?

    I think we found the problem - Ver 1803 build 17133.1

    I recommend you downgrade to Windows 10 1709 then try again.

    Windows 10 feature updates are notorious for breaking older hardware.

    There are some compatibility issues with Windows 10 version 1803 and certain hardware or software. There is no explanation why a lot of these problems are happening in Windows 10 1803, but the release is significantly flawed. Software and Hardware that once
    worked in previous versions, just suddenly stops working in Windows 10 1803 after an upgrade and sometimes loses functionality or stability.

    Just to touch back on why I personally think it might be broken. When Microsoft starts preparing for a new release, it goes through a process called refactoring. It seems this is introducing some significant code changes that breaks certain protocols and API's
    required by older apps and drivers. Considering the Windows Driver Model has not changed much in its near 30 year history not mention the application programming interfaces such as Win32, this might be culprit.

    Windows 10 freeze randomly many times a day!

    Same problem.

    Build: 1803

    Maybe Nvidia driver problem?

    I tested without Nvidia driver: No freeze and works all program perfectly. But I needed Nvidia driver for gaming. :/

    I did attempt to re-install drivers. Hotkeys worked initially now its broken again, also noticed the screen brightness on the keyboard isn't working either. Now I'm contemplating if I should go back the previous version. Only benefits so far is the fast boot ups and my windows explorer is working again, before it wouldn't show the recently opened folders, documents for that program.

    Updated to 1803 and drivers won't work

    Main problem is graphic card driver will not install reverts to Win basic driver.

    I also have the new disk partition others have seen

    There is a log collector that is used in another forum on Ten Forums.
    Please run the beta version of the log collector and post a zip into this thread for troubleshooting.

    Thanks for the replies, sorry for the late reply been busy. I had tried reinstalling the Nvidia graphics drivers, they installed but did nothing. Also downloaded the latest intel drivers for the integrated graphics and wouldn't install at all.

    EDIT: used the wrong bug log collector. Use the "SILVER-SURFER (2018-05-03 23 01)" file.
