    Updated Windows 8.1 to 10 and now unable to download Brother iPrint&Scan software


    Recently I updated my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. With Windows 8.1 I had installed the Brother iPrint&Scan software and it functioned perfectly. With Windows 10 however, I am unable to install the software even logged in as administrator. The error message I get is:Brother iPrint&Scan SetupService ‘Brother Workflow Application Controller’WorkflowAppControl failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.Retry or Cancel When I click retry the message comes back immediately. I also tried to download and reinstall a couple more times without succ

    Application crash - Brother iPrint & Scan

    Just bought and installed a new Brother multi-function printer to replace a broken Canon printer. Installed the full and updated package from their website and the printer is working fine. The scanning function works as well.

    But when I install the bundled software "Brother iPrint & Scan", which is a software package that gives you more control of the scanning process, this application will not start. The process just terminates, and I find the following in Event Viewer:
