I updated my asus zenbook 14 UX480F with latest windows update on 12/04/2020. After update device restarted and i could not connect to a network, no internet access, no networks even showing up.

Rolled back the update, reset network, uninstalled devices, tried restore point, set back to factory reset. None of these worked.

tried some image clean up stuff suggested in another post also did not work.

    please help!

    Thank you.

    :)

    2020-03 Cumulative update failure

I have Windows 10 1909 64bit installed on a Lenovo laptop. When I try to install the 2020-03 Cumulative update (KB4540673) it will download and then install to the point of saying that it is 100% installed, then it will change to say There were problems Installing some Updates, -Error 0x800f0982

I have run the disk clean up and run scan /sfc on the C drive, the C drive is a SSD with 65gb free.

I have checked on line and the suggestion are to remove any recently installed language packs, I only have one language pack installed, English (United Kingdom) so I am not likely to be uninstalling that. The laptop has been running with Windows 10 since June 2019 with no problems.

    Can anybody please advise

2020-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64 based Systems breaks Microsoft Store

    Hello everyone,

I noticed an odd issue with Microsoft Store tonight. When I went and checked for updates, instead of listing a program as, say Spotify and show it's logo, it would list it's file directory and path with no icon. You could still update things up the display
    was weird.

I went and checked Windows Update and found the 2020-03 Cumulative Update, as well as the 2020-02 Cumulative Update for .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64. I did both updates, and now Microsoft Store is broken completely and
giving me error code 0x80131500 .

    I found
    this
post and attempted steps 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 from Vija_Verma's post, with no success. I skipped step 4 as that doesn't seem likely to me, and I skipped Step 7 as the antivirus I'm running is Windows Security.

I then went and checked my father's PC via TeamViewer (my father lives in another city from me), and his Microsoft Store was working fine, save the odd display of names and no logos in updating like I originally had.

I checked his Windows Updates, found the same two updates and did them, and now his Windows Store is completely broken as well and having the exact same issue as mine.

Two completely different systems, two completely different networks, located in two completely different cities, doing the same updates in the same order and getting the same results.

This tells me the issue is not system related, but update related. While it could be the .Net Framework update, I suspect more the Cumulative Update for Windows 10.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there a way to forward this to Microsoft's attention for a patch/resolution?

    Thank you!
