Windows 10: updates caused failures

Discus and support updates caused failures in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Since January 2021 my computer has being behaving weird, after this months updates KB5003637 and KB5003254 it became annoyingly unusable, I uninstalled...     updates caused failures


    Since January 2021 my computer has being behaving weird, after this months updates KB5003637 and KB5003254 it became annoyingly unusable, I uninstalled last updates and it improved a little, but still behaving weird, sometimes i have to reboot to be able to keep working.How long back should i go ?, how can I prevent my computer from installing updates ?, any news from microsoft about all these problems ?.

    method to determine exactly what caused a particular update?

    Two suggested articles from Microsoft....

    Whether you find the exact cause will determine the level of troubleshooting you go through.

    Windows 10 update: start up and sleep issues caused

    Dear Vijay,

    Thank you for your response: apologies for slow feedback.

    Regarding step 1 - doing a restore point : I tried this twice and twice it failed. Now, the date of the update that caused the issue (13/14 September 2019) has disappeared from the history list. Is there a way of finding it, still?

    Regarding Step 2- the list of updates installed: the two suggestions above do not seem to appear in the list in the window "Installed Updates".

    There are two updates listed for 13 September - Security Update for Adobe Flash Player and Security Update for Microsoft Windows.

    Could you advise what I might try next?

    Random lock up, in DESPERATE need of help.

    Lock ups can be caused by overheating, or sound failure.

    Make sure you update your chipset drivers for audio. Also tell me step by step of how you install your heatsink.
