    Updates for Windows 10 Version 1909 failing


    Hi,


    I have an Alienware Aurora R11 system. The October Update KB4023057 and the October Cumulative Update KB4577671 both failed to apply. These continually fail with a download Error 0x80070002. The machine is connected to the network and other internet calls work perfectly, including other Windows updates such as that for .NET Framework for instance.


    Additionally, I am unable to update/install iTunes to the latest version.


    Any help would be most appreciated.

    Dear all,

    constantly getting the message that the update to Windows 10, Version 1909 fails. Detailed message:

    • Funktionsupdate für Windows 10, Version 1909
    • Fehler bei der Installation am ‎11.‎04.‎2020 – 0x8007001f
    I couldn't find a solution in the community, yet. Thus I'm asking for support.

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
