Windows 10: Updates not working after KB4512508 on 14 August.

My PC is quite old and I have tried the microsoft fix it tool. The fix it tool never works.

I have been trying to check for new updates from since yesterday (Tuesday 14th June) in the afternoon. It is now Wednesday morning (12 hours approx) and it is still checking. There is no error code, it is just checking for the updates.


I have no technical skills so please do not ask me any technical questions. I would just like a solution to this problem.

It is August now and my pc has been searching for updates for 1 week now. This is ridiculous

August 13,2019-KB4512508(OS Build 18362.295) after my laptop working not properly

My laptop's sound is glitching and slower... like when I am moving mouse.. system speed is getting slower and sound too.

I have already update all drivers, but it is same....

Please give some advice!!! Please

 

Error: H: is not accessible after installing KB4512508 update

On august 18, my Windows Update installed KB4512508 during the night, and after restaring my computer, I had a lot of problems, like Hello does not work and other errors, but the most problematic for me just now, is that the external disc where my Backups
are stored daily, is not accessible.

In the list of external discs I can see the disc as H:\BACKUP, but when I klick on this disc, I just get a message the disc is not accessible.

I have tried the disc on other computers, like one with Windows 7 and many with Windoes 10, and all of them accepts the disc and allows me to open files on the disc.

How to proceed ?

Problem with KB4512508

I watch TV with Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-5525 card DVB-S2 and DVB-T2.

My old computer with i5 3570k had windows 10 1903. After Update KB4512508 I could not receive any more HD stations on Astra 19.2 (low signal, no tone, no picture. After uninstalling KB4512508 the HD stations on Astra 19.2 were back.

Then I changed my motherboard to MSI with Ryzen 2200G, bought a new Windows 10, made a clean installion from scratch.

Everything worked fine with my TV until Update KB4512508 came. After this update same problem, no HD stations on Astra 19.2.

Now I uninstalled KB4512508 for the 4th time and set all updating on hold until there is a solution from Microsoft or from Hauppauge.

Quite disappointing ...
