Windows 10: updating from 1803 to 1909

Discus and support updating from 1803 to 1909 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I am trying to update from windows 1803 to 1909, I get this error message after a few hours of downloading and updating.     updating from 1803 to 1909


    I am trying to update from windows 1803 to 1909, I get this error message after a few hours of downloading and updating. 'Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install Windows, restart the computer then restart the installation' after it downloads 100%, reaches a stage where it says something like your computer will shut down and restart, then at 60% of the way through the update the above message appears. “Then undoing changes made to your computer” and back where I started I have already tried manually updating through the Windows 10 Update Assistant as well as automatic update over 10 times. I went into Troubleshoot and did what was asked, but no positive result for the update. I also deleted the file in downloads folder several times.

    Windows 10 update 1909

    Hi Sarthak

    No you do not need to update to 1809 - 1903 if you are currently on version 1803, then version 1909 will appear in the list of updates and will automatically be installed on your PC since 1803 has run out of support

    You do not need to do anything, 1909 is currently spreading around the world, just give it time to appear in the list of pending updates . . .

    Windows 10 update 1909

    Hey,

    I've just clean installed windows 10. It is build 1803.

    Today awesome 1909 have launched. I want to update to 1909 but in settings it is showing me option to upgrade to 1809. My friend told me I have to upgrade to 1809, then 1903 and then finally 1909.

    I want to directly upgrade to 1909 without going through intermediate steps. How can I do this?

    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary device not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
