    Updating my Computer with Fresh Start


    I have an older DELL Inspiron laptop that has been running beautifully on Windows 10; the laptop was purchased with Vista and subsequently upgraded to Windows 7. Then I took advantage of the free upgrade to Windows 10. No problems to date but the latest attempt to update to 1903 failed, which I think was a driver (I foolishly left peripherals plugged in). The registry has ballooned from 42,000 mbs in 2016 to 237,000 so I think it is time to do a clean install. Not being a computer expert, I am thinking of using fresh start but am in the dark as to what happens with some of the major drivers - like the display and wireless drivers, etc. Can anyone enlighten me as to what happens with the major drivers when using the fresh start option and what needs to be prepared in advance?

    Windows Fresh Start

    What I mean by fresh start is, an option found in Windows Defender Security Center -> Device Performance & Health -> Fresh Star

    • Fresh Start: "Start fresh with a clean up to date installation of Windows. This will keep your personal files and some windows settings, and remove some of your apps."
    I proceeded to check the disk through the mentioned instructions but no error was found. Any idea what might be causing the issue?

    Mouse Pointer in Fresh Paint

    As of now, there is no option to disappear mouse pointer and turn into a dot or circle.I suggest you to use feedback inside the fresh paint app and give feedback regarding this.

    Please follow the steps below:

    • Open fresh paint.
    • Click on hub(the three lines, in top left corner).
    • Click on settings.
    • Click on send feedback.
