  1. Updating Windows 10 with multiple drives

I am Windows 10 1909 right now. I am going to update to 2009 soon, but still debating if its worth the headache.

I have a few different storage devices. Windows 10 itself is on my SSD. The other drives have programs, games and media. When I do a feature update, is there anything special I need to do? Will my 3 other drives be untouched?

Extra question: If I install a SATA drive or M.2 into a certain port, initialize it but then change the port (i.e. M.2_1 to M2.2 or SATA 0 to SATA 4) does that change anything on the system? Would it damage files or cause issues?

Finally I'm wondering if it's safe to switch drive letters freely. I want to switch D: and E: with each other.

How much hassle would it be to change where I have Windows 10? It's on my SATA SSD, but would love to pop it on my 2TB NVME. Or should I keep it on the smaller SSD?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
