    hi, I am struggling to update my windows 10 from 1803 to the latest version. Everytime I try it gets to 60% and says that "windows could not configure one or more system components" then rolls back the install. I have updated my drivers, used the media creation tool and tried to remove the IIS keys but I apparently don't have admin rights to that despite being the admin and sole user. I have tried everything i can think of and would like your advice please. Thanks.

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
