  1. Upgrade conflict

    Hello

My O/S is Windows 10. I connected a Seagate slim backup plus disk to my laptop last June. It worked as expected for a while. About July August time or it may have been a little latter it would no longer show on my laptop. I've clicked on Windows System, file explorer, but it cannot be seen. I've tried other ports on my laptop with out success. However I've connected it to other PC using windows 10 where it worked perfectly. This suggests that there is a conflict of interest between my laptop and my Seagate back up disc. I've been in touch with Seagate, who have not been able to solve my problem and suggest that an MS upgrade may have caused the problem. I've tried system restore but my restore points do not go back that far. Does anyone have a solution?

    :)
