    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 not compatible with Windows 10?

    It's showing just as it is, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260. It's running Windows 7 now, and it's running the latest version driver. But not for 10, it's running 7. I haven't tried installing the 10 driver...

    How is the display adapter showing up in the Device Manager?

    Have you tried installing the latest driver available for the GTX 260 available from NVIDIA for Windows 10?

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 not compatible with Windows 10?

    The Windows 10 driver may not install or create issues in Windows 7.

    But if you want to upgrade to Windows 10 try using a Windows 10 .iso to do the upgrade.

    Afterward, post back if an issue with the GTX 260.

    From the following link you could use Step 4 or 7 to do the upgrade:
