Windows 10: Upgrade from W7 to W 10 Error

dual boot? w7 and w 10


hi, is it possible to dual boot w7 and w 10?. I'm currently running w7 and i got offer for w10 already, my question is it possible to dual boot it and i want genuine w10 as well. i tried use media creation control and windows update but both failed at step 3 (75% overall) and now i'm downloading ISO file to DVD. my HDD is 1T

 

Video card or RAM need upgrading?

Memtest: no errors after 10 hrs.
I'm going to perform the Primetest, later on. Get back to you on that.
I'm going to take it step by step, guys. I need to find the problem with this current computer. I might have to upgrade some components, so that it is still runnable. As for the new one, yes....i will build on it later. I need to find something decent 'gaming experience', all suggestions appreciated. THanks.

Considering failed attempts from Windows 10 (GWX) app in notification area and the media creation tool.
Still feel this might be related to something on the system, driver or settings. Research has shown some of this.
