Windows 10: Upgrade from windows 10 home single language to windows 10 pro, stuck on getting things...

The problem started when i tried to add a second language to outlook for proofing, only to find out my windows 10 home was single language bought it from abroad


i figured i need to upgrade to windows 10 pro, no biggy.


Went to Settings, downloaded and installed all updates, went to activation, upgrade to pro, paid, redirected to install.


clicked install...


getting things ready...


aaaaaaaaaaand that's about it, it does not get anywhere past this.


No update is pending, nothing is going on in the background, no peripherals, Antivirus and firewall are off.


Left it for 2 hours, 4 hours, 10 hours.. same.


Hard reboot, tried again, nothing.


This is really frustrating, especially that the laptop belongs to the company owner, and he is getting real upset, and i have yet to find aaaany solution on the internet.


i also tried resetting microsoft store, nothing.

Switching between local and microsoft account, also nothing.


i would appreciate any help that makes sense, and solves my issue.

I've added Windows 10 Anniversary Update (1607) 'client combined single language' ESDs and decryptor to the op.

Client Combined Single Language includes:
Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Home Single Language, Windows 10 Education

 

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

 

Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

No, in my language I just have the windows 10 and windows 10 N version. In the standard american version I see windows 10, windows 10 Home Single Language, and windows 10 N.
