    Hi,
    I bought a retail disk Windows 8.1 PRO disk that I loaded onto an old laptop years ago, and eventually upgraded it to windows 10 PRO for free.
    That old laptop has since died and gone to heaven, so my Windows 8.1 PRO license is no longer in use, for over a year now.
    I just bought a new Microsoft Surface Pro 6 which came with Windows 10 HOME Upgrade from Windows 10 HOME to PRO using a retail Windows 8.1 PRO product key - Possible??? :( pre installed.
    Can I upgrade my Surface to Windows 10 PRO using my retail Windows 8.1 PRO product key?
    If so, how do I do this?

    I read through most of that thread and it seems you have to jump through windows insider hoops. Is there a Retail Windows 10 x64 PRO ISO I can download directly from microsoft that my windows 8 key will work with?

    I have "Windows 8 Pro" retail version. May I use "Windows 8 Pro" product key at the time of clean installation of Windows 10 Pro? I have not upgraded that Windows 8 Pro to Windows 10 Pro ever. If it is possible then tell me the steps to activate the Windows
    10 Pro using that Windows 8 Pro product key.

    Is it still possible to upgrade OEM Window 10 from HOME to PRO with a valid windows 8 OEM PRO key?

    I purchased a windows 8 OEM Pro key several years ago. Recently I bought a laptop with Windows 10 HOME. I want to upgrade it Windows 10 Pro. It is possible to make it with the Windows 8 Pro key? If yes, what steps are there? Many thanks!
