Windows 10: Upgrade to ten from 8.1

Hi All, am new here. I live in France my language is English. Earlier this year purchased A H.P all in one desktop touch screen. I thought at the time it was the model with multi language but it turns out it was a single language model. I didn't send it back through one thing or another. To remedie this I purchased from Microsoft a windows 8.1 OS and downloaded electronically in , this allowed me to change the language. I now want to upgrade to windows 10 but it will only allow it in the computers original language and if I do this I will loose all my apps and software , backing up is not problem for documents etc.
Does any one know if there is a solution to this problem?

Backlight keyboard not working with windows 10 upgrade from 8.1

When I upgraded from windows 8.1 to ten the backlight on my K501LX asus laptop stopped working and the

backlight brightness key doesn't work.

Hi it's your speakers software, after upgrading to ten , ten has broken it, this happened to me had to send it away for repair , now I have still 8.1 but now looking to buy the iPhone
