Windows 10: Upgrade to Windows 10 pro from a preinstalled W7 pro downgrade

Hello.

I’d appreciate some advice on the following-

I’m considering purchasing a business notebook pc whose OS has been downgraded from Windows 10 pro to Windows 7 pro through the built in downgrade rights by the manufacturer machine specs include 6th gen core i5, 512gb ssd and 8gb RAM. I prefer Windows 10 pro on my laptop-the question is, if I do purchase this machine, will it be possible to upgrade to Windows 10 pro for free when I setup the computer? If yes, is there anything particular I need to know about the process for doing so?

Your question is very confusing.

So you have a software download of Windows 10 Pro with no product key.

Is that correct?

Then you say:

If you already have Windows 7 why download Windows 10 Pro if you don't want to use Windows 10 Pro??

If by some chance you mean that you bought Windows 10 Pro and you want to downgrade it for free to Windows 7 Pro, you can't.

Windows 10 Pro had to be a preinstalled OEM license.

Is there a Windows 10 or Windows 7 sticker on the chassis of the machine?
