  1. Upgraded to windows 10 1809 and broke calculator.exe faulting module Windows.UI.Xaml.dll

I recently upgraded from Windows 10 1803 to 1809 (OS build 17763.253) and now my calculator doesn't work. It will pop up momentarily (and I'll see the icon on the taskbar like it's trying to open) then crash right away.

I've tried these fixes found online:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    and this

sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt, restarted, and same result.

I've clicked Advanced Options in the "Apps & Features" settings under calculator and clicked Reset. No Avail.

    Any other suggestions? Thanks

Another minor annoyance is my start tiles all reset and most still say "A great app is on the way" and been that way for days. I really would like the calculator to work.

    :)

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

Chrome started crashing after Windows 10 upgrade to 1809

    Hello

Since upgrading my computer from Windows 10 - 1803 to 1809 it has been crashing Chrome with the following error:

    I have done the following:

    • Run latest Windows Updates
    • Upgraded Chrome to Version 71.0.3578.98
    • Reset Chrome
    • Uninstalled/Reinstalled Chrome
The only way I have been able to fix this is by rolling back my update to 1803 which I'd prefer not to do. The crashing does not happen in Windows 10 1803.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
