Windows 10: Upgraded to Windows 10 1903: Missing pause feature update

I recently upgrade 3 machines from Windows 10 Professional 1809 to 1903. I also did a fresh install of a 4th machine with Windows 10 Professional 1903. After the upgrade/install was finished, I set all 4 machines to defer future feature updates to 120 days. After a couple reboots, this option has now disappeared on all 3 machines I upgraded from 1809. I only see the option to defer quality updates from those 3 machines. The 4th machine with the fresh install of 1903 still has that option appearing. Is this a bug with 1903? Is Microsoft aware and working on a fix?

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

 

Windows Feature Update 1903

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. The steps which you have undertaken to block updates won't work for any feature update. Feature updates need to be blocked temporarily by using different steps.

But, I will suggest that you should not try to stop 1903 feature update. Let it happen.

May 1903. How do I receive security updates and pause feature update?

I have paused my feature update (1903) however I still want to get my Windows Defender updates. How do I do this?
