Windows 10: Upgrading from Win 10 1803 to 1903

HI


I have been trying to upgrade my PC to Windows 10 1903 from 1803. I have tried from the Windows 10 upgrade assistant and from the Media tool with no success.The process is complaining that one or more devices are not compatible or device drivers are not available and therefor the process can't be completed. What I do not understand is that version 10 1803 is already installed and running but it is impossible for version 10 1903 to be installed because of these devices drivers.

My device manager is not complaining of any missing drivers for the hardware I have right now.



I have looked at other threads and they have disabled the on board sound system but this solution was no success.

Win 10 1803 to 1903 update

My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1903 a while back, but my Desktop running Win 10 version 1803

I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1903 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Actually - SORRY - my question was badly worded. I am trying to upgrade someone's PC from Win 10 1803 to 1903 and getting the 80070005 error. I've tried most of the troubleshooting tricks, but am temted to just go for a fresh install - just like the old
days! ;-)

However, I'll try from a DVD iso as you suggest.
