Windows 10: Upgrading motherboard help

hi i am thinking of upgrading the motherboard in my prebuilt pc and I was wondering do I have to re download and install everything? Or when I plug in my os m.2 will everything work like nothing ever happened?I currently have a asus prime b550-k while running windows 11 x64 planning on going to a asus tuf gaming b550m plus

The only hardware changes that can negatively impact activation status once you upgrade to free version are the changes to the:

• CPU
• TPM
• Motherboard replacement

The following changes are examples of hardware changes that will NOT impact the activation status:

• HDD/SSD
• Video card
• Adding extra memory

As mentioned, any socket 1151 motherboard would work. However, due to the fact that 1151 socket motherboards are getting old, the prices are going through the roof.

I suggest you get a new motherboard, CPU and RAM. Something like this maybe...
